NRT Validation

Near Real Time (NRT) validation aims to deliver a sustained online quality assessment of the Copernicus Marine Mediterranean Sea Waves Analysis and Forecast product (MEDSEA_ANALYSISFORECAST_WAV_006_017). The validation task is performed using both independent and semi-independent data. Independent data are wave buoys from Copernicus Marine Service, while semi-independent data (i.e. data that are assimilated by the model) are Satellite Altimeter significant wave height data from Copernicus Marine Service.

Interim Validation

The validation task is performed using both independent and semi-independent data. Independent data are wave buoys from Copernicus Marine Service, while semi-independent data (i.e. data that are assimilated by the model) are Satellite Altimeter significant wave height data from Copernicus Marine Service.
