Mediterranean Sea Wave Analysis and Forecast
NRT Validation
Near Real Time validation aims at delivering a sustained on-line quality assessment of the wave forecast product (i.e. identify main biases and suspicious trends in the time series and establish accuracy values for simulated variables). The validation task is performed using both independent and semi-independent data. Independent data are wave buoys from CMEMS, while semi-independent data, i.e. data that are assimilated by the model, are Satellite Altimeter SWH from CMEMS.
